Slow Cooker Acorn Squash Recipe

Ingredients
  • ½ Cup Water
  • 2 Acorn Squash, Sliced and seeded
  • ½ TSP Cinnamon
  • ½ TSP Nutmeg
  • ½ Cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1 Stick of Unsalted Butter, Melted
Instructions
  1. Combine cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar.
  2. Pour water into slow cooker.
  3. Place squash slices in flesh sides up.
  4. Top slices with butter.
  5. Sprinkle buttered squash with cinnamon sugar mixture.
  6. Cover and cook slow and low, 8 hours or until fork tender.
