Peppermint Hershey Kiss Blossoms

Ingredients
  • 2¾ Cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 TSP Baking Soda
  • ½ TSP Baking Powder
  • 1 cup / 16 TBSP Butter, Softened
  • 1½ Cups Sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 TSP Vanilla Extract
  • 1 TSP Peppermint Extract
  • 50 +/- Hershey's Candy Cane Kisses
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Cream butter and sugar until smooth.
  5. Beat in egg, vanilla, and peppermint.
  6. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
  7. Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake 10 minutes or until golden.
  9. Gently press one Hershey's Kiss per cookie, one at a time and remove from cookie sheet. Immediately transfer to cooling rack. Enjoy!
