Crock Pot Chicken Parmesan Recipe

Serves: 6-8
Ingredients
2 Chicken Breasts, Cut into Halves
Egg Wash:
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 TBSP Milk
  • 1 TSP Italian Seasoning
  • 1 Pinch Black Pepper
  • 1 Pinch Kosher Salt
Breading:
  • 1 TBSP Italian Seasoning
  • 1 Pinch Black Pepper
  • 1 Pinch Kosher Salt
  • 1 Cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Sauce:
  • 28 OZ Crushed Peeled Tomatoes
  • 1 TBSP Italian Seasoning
Topping
  • 1 Ball of Fresh Mozzarella, Sliced
  • 1 LB of your favorite pasta, cooked per package instructions
Instructions
  1. Make Egg Wash in a bowl by combining all the wash ingredients
  2. Add Chicken to wash and let soak
  3. Make breading in a separate bowl by combining all the breading ingredients
  4. Move soaked Chicken into breading and coat thoroughly
  5. Layer breasts on bottom of the slow cooker
  6. Add the crushed tomatoes and final TBSP of seasoning
  7. Cover and cook on low 5-6 hours
  8. Add sliced fresh mozzarella to cover
  9. Cook 10 - 15 minutes on low
  10. Make your favorite pasta while the mozzarella melts (I used spaghetti)
  11. To serve, plate some pasta and layer one breast with sauce over pasta.
  12. Serve!
