Slow Cooker Beef Brisket With Collard Greens

Ingredients
Brisket:
  • 1 Red Onion, Chopped
  • 1 Yellow Onion, Chopped
  • ½ Cup Makers Mark (Bourbon)
  • 2 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 TBSP Liquid Smoke, Hickory
  • 2 Cups Beef Stock
  • 2 TBSP Minced Garlic
  • 5¾ LBS Brisket
  • Black Pepper
  • Kosher Salt
Greens:
  • 3 Bundles of Collard Greens, Cleaned and Chopped
Instructions
  1. Combine all Brisket ingredients in slow cooker placing brisket on top.
  2. Cook on low for 20 hours (or less if meat starts to dry out)
  3. Add Greens and cook for 1 - 1.5 hours
  4. Remove Brisket and rest for 15 - 20 minutes
