Slow Cooker Mac and Cheese Recipe

Serves: 10-12
Ingredients
  • 20 OZ Shredded Cheese, Mild Cheddar, Sharp Cheddar, Monterey Jack and Colby
  • 4 TBSP Butter
  • 2 TBSP Flour
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 1 Pinch Paprika
  • 1 Pinch Black Pepper
  • 1 Pinch Kosher Salt
  • 2 LBS Cooked Macaroni Noodles
Instructions
  1. Make roux by combining butter, flour and milk in skillet and stir until the color of peanut butter on Medium Heat (4 on my stove)
  2. Add half of the cheese to the roux, continuing to stir
  3. Add Paprika, Salt and Pepper
  4. Combine Cheese Sauce & Macaroni noodles in slow cooker. Top with remaining Cheese.
  5. hours on high, 4 hours on low
