This apple and cheddar stuffed chicken breast recipe was a huge hit with my family! I’ll be honest, I was initially met with a little skepticism. “Stuffed chicken? With apples?!?” my finicky children wondered aloud. Of course, after one bite they were easily won over (as usual)! Maybe one day they’ll learn to trust their dear old dad.
For this recipe, I used chicken breasts, cheddar cheese, granola, bread crumbs and delicious red apples. I first fried the chicken to crisp it and then put it in the oven and baked it for 10-15 minutes.
The crunchy, yet tender chicken combined with apples and cheesy goodness on the inside formed to create a scrumptious mix of flavors and textures. Every bite is full of deliciousness!
A great chicken dinner recipe the whole family will love!
