The inspiration for this bbq chicken pizza roll ups recipe was a Dominos BBQ Chicken Pizza. Instead of making it the traditional way, I decided to do a mashup of a pizza and a pinwheel cake. I’m kind of a big fan of mashups to give my recipes a different spin once in awhile.
This barbecue pizza rolls recipe uses a pre-made pizza crust. Of course, you can make your own pizza crust from scratch, which I have done in this Homemade Margherita Flatbread Pizza Recipe.
But sometimes, I just want it quick and easy, so for this recipe I used a store bought crust. I seasoned the crust to give it a garlic, parmesan flavor.
I also cooked and shredded boneless, skinless chicken breasts for this recipe. However, you can also save yourself some time and use frozen chicken fajita meat or frozen chicken breast strips, if you prefer.
You can also make your own barbecue sauce if you really want to make it your own.
Easy and delicious, this homemade pizza recipe is sure to be a crowd pleaser!
