This crockpot cheese tortellini with meat sauce meal is a simple fix it and forget it dinner recipe. You can start it in the morning, and have this delicious comfort food waiting for you at night.
For this recipe, I used cheese tortellini pasta, but you could substitute your preferred flavor. The ground beef, onions, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and Cabernet Sauvignon wine all combine into one flavorful dish!

Tortellini Recipe (Crockpot): Ground Beef Crockpot Recipes
- 2 LBS Ground Beef
- 1 Medium Yellow Onion, Chopped
- 3 TBSP Minced Garlic
- 14.5 OZ Diced Tomatoes
- 14.5 OZ Cabernet Sauvignon wine
- 28 OZ Crushed Tomatoes
- ½ TBSP Thyme
- ½ TBSP Oregano
- ½ TBSP Basil
- 1 Cup Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
- 38 OZ Frozen Cheese Tortellini
- Brown beef, onion and garlic in pan
- Dump beef mixture into slow cooker
- Add canned tomatoes (diced and crushed), cabernet sauvignon and spices.
- Cook on high 3-4 hours or 7-8 hours on low
- Add Tortellini and Mozzarella Cheese
- Cook additional 20 - 30 minutes
- Serve in a bowl with parsley
