My sons are obsessed with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. They have refused to eat anything other than PB&J at lunchtime for years now. Making them so often inspired me to make this childhood favorite into a real treat: Deep fried peanut butter and jelly!
Put your diet on pause and just enjoy the yummy deliciousness. Every once in a while you just need to “Treat Yo Self” and enjoy some simple pleasures (do an extra mile on the trail to burn off the calories).
These fried PB&J sandwiches are made using Italian bread (you can also use Texas Toast), eggs, brown sugar and Panko bread crumbs for a delicious crunch.
If you love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, you’ll certainly love this deep fried recipe!
