This homemade slow cooker cranberry sauce is an easy recipe to add to your holiday meal. I know I can’t imagine my turkey without it. As a Thanksgiving or Christmas side dish, it’s a quick fix it and forget it recipe. The preparation time is only five minutes, leaving you free to prepare the rest of your menu.
I used fresh, whole cranberries with orange juice and brown sugar, so there’s nothing canned about this recipe! I grew up with canned cranberry sauce, so I’m not knocking it. But there’s something so fresh and delicious about homemade cranberry sauce. I won’t be going back to store bought!
This is a tart dish, but also has a certain amount of sweetness to it. Feel free to adjust the brown sugar amounts to make it sweeter according to your taste. Give this crockpot cranberry sauce a try and let me know what you think. It makes a perfect addition to any holiday menu. Not that you have to wait for a special occasion to enjoy this dish!

Homemade Crockpot Cranberry Sauce – The Best Slow Cooker Cranberry Sauce Recipe
- 16 OZ Fresh Cranberries
- ⅔ Cup Orange Juice
- ⅔ Cup Water
- ¾ Cup Dark Brown Sugar
- Combine everything into slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours. Serve!
