This is a slow cooker, garlic mashed potatoes recipe that you’re gonna love!
Mashed potatoes are such an easy side dish to whip up. They go great with a special feast like Thanksgiving or as an everyday side dish that needs no special occasion. And if my kids eat nothing else, they will eat potatoes! The best thing about this recipe is how easy it is to make. No peeling. No boiling. Just throw everything in the crockpot and you’re done. Talk about an easy, no hustle side!
I used red potatoes with the skin left on, sour cream, garlic and milk. Optional additions could include cheese, bacon bits, or whatever else you like. No instant potatoes here! These crockpot mashed potatoes are made from scratch. And it’s just as easy to make as the boxed stuff!
You can use a potato masher like I did, or use an electric mixer if you like a creamier texture. Once you try it, I’m sure you will use this simple and quick crock pot recipe again and again! I hope you enjoy this recipe and let me know what you think! Looking for more crockpot side dish recipes? Try these:
