Halloween is pretty big for my family. We love dressing up, decorating the house with ghosts and goblins and really getting into the spirit of the holiday. And nothing is more fun for me than to make some spooky Halloween sweets. What other time of the year can you make Zombie Brain Rice Crispy Treats and not seem a little bit odd?
Since the calendar hit October 1, my kids have been going around the house pretending to be undead zombies. So this Halloween recipe was a direct result of the zombie invasion in my house.
Made with just a few ingredients (including Rice Krispies cereal and some licorice), this decaying brain would be an awesome addition to any Halloween party. Even if you’re not throwing a party, you can surely impress your children or friends with this spooky treat.
Fun to make and eat and the perfect Rice Crispy Treat recipe for your Halloween festivities!
