Apple Fries With Creamy Caramel Dip

Ingredients
- 3 granny smith apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup wandra flour
- cinnamon to taste
- extra suger
- ½ cup oil
Dip:
- 8 oz cream cheese
- ½ family size cool whip
- 1 cup of caramel sauce
Instructions
Apples:
- Add oil to skillet, turn stove on medium-high
- Wisk to combine buttermilk and 1 cup of sugar in bowl
- Soak apples in buttermilk / sugar mixture for several minutes
- cup Wandra flour in container
- Coat apple slices in flour
- Add breaded apples to oil in batches
- Remove each batch to paper towel lined plate
- Quickly dust with cinnamon and sugar
- Do this for all apple batches until all apple slices are fried
Dip:
- Combine 8 oz cream cheese & ½ family size cool whip in a mixer and blend until smooth
- Add caramel sauce and blend until combined
- Pour dipping sauce into serving bowl
- drizzle remaining caramel on top of sauce
