My wife loves chicken parmesan. We can’t go to an Italian restaurant without her ordering this dish. When I decided to give my wife a special dinner and make this at home, I wanted to give it a different spin and make a crock pot chicken parmesan.
The results? Tender and tasty chicken breasts crusted with Panko breadcrumbs to add texture. I added some parmesan cheese with a tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese topping. Served over pasta, it was absolutely delicious! Thankfully, it didn’t leave my wife longing for the restaurant version as I watched her dive in for seconds.
