No Summer grilling season is complete without shish kabobs (at least for me)! Who doesn’t love meat on a stick (which is what shish kabobs roughly translates to from its Turkish origins).
What I love about shish kabobs is that you can make them however you like. It’s a flexible dish. You can use any kind of meat ranging from beef, lamb, or chicken and add your favorite vegetable combinations!
For this recipe, I made grilled beef shish kabobs. I used a less expensive cut of beef (sirloin tips) because I like to cook on a budget. Feel free to substitute your preferred meat (like a good filet mignon) if you are specifically looking to use beef as your meat of choice.

How To Make Beef Shish Kabobs: Easy Beef Kabab Recipes (How to Make Shish Kabobs)
- 1 tablespoon of Dijon Mustard
- 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 4 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 LB Beef Sirloin Tip, Chopped and marinated
- 1 LB Whole Mushrooms
- 1 Red Onions, Cut into chunks
- Kabob Skewers
- Combine all ingredients for marinade in bowl
- Add beef sirloin tip
- Cover and refrigerate for 2-4 hours up to over night
- Alternating mushroom, beef, and onion ad several to fill each skewer
- Grill over direct heat 5 minutes per side, all four sides
