I’m always looking for a low fuss way to prepare a dish, so I made this into a slow cooker corned beef and cabbage recipe!
This homemade and easy to make crock pot corned beef, cabbage and potatoes dinner is cooked in Guinness Beer. Throw it in the crockpot in the morning and have a tender and tasty Jiggs dinner waiting for you at night! Enjoy it for St. Patrick’s day or anytime of the year!

Slow Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage With Guinness: Beef and Cabbage Crockpot Recipe
- 1 Yellow Onion, Chopped
- 8 - 10 Redskin Potatoes Quartered
- 2 Cans Irish Stout Guinness (Could Substitute Water)
- 1 Green Cabbage, Chopped
- Add Onion, potatoes and corned beef to slow cooker
- Cover with 2 Cans Guinness and extra water if needed
- Sprinkle spice pack spices
- Cover & cook on High 8 hours
- Add Cabbage, cook 1 more hour
- Serve with a side of buttered soda bread
