This breakfast casserole recipe is inspired by the kind of food I cook on camping trips. I’ve taken this exact recipe combination and made it in a Dutch oven or sometimes in foil packets and cooked it over a campfire or grill. Of course, you don’t have to camp to enjoy this meal.
This delicious breakfast casserole is made with hash browns, cheese, eggs and sausage. Enjoy this cheesy casserole for breakfast or brunch (even dinner)! You make the rules!

Breakfast Casserole With Hash Browns, Eggs and Sausage: Easy Breakfast Casserole Recipes
- 10 Eggs
- 20 Sausage Links
- 1 LB Frozen Shredded Hash Browns
- 32 OZ Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- ½ Cup Milk
- 3 TBSP Butter
- 2 Pinch Salt
- 2 Pinch Pepper
- 1 TBSP Olive Oil
- Preheat oven to 350
- Combine Milk, eggs, salt and pepper in a bowl
- In a skillet add 1 TBSP butter and sausage and cook on medium until browned
- Remove from heat
- Add another 1 TBSP butter to skillet
- Deglaze pan and add hash browns
- Add ½ TBSP Olive Oil and cook for five - 7 minutes
- Shred the sausage while the hash browns cook
- Season hash browns with salt and pepper
- Add ½ TBSP Olive Oil to dutch oven
- Add Hash browns
- Add the sausage
- Mix to combine
- Add ½ cheese
- Add egg mixture
- Mix
- Add remaining cheese
- Bake 30 minutes
- Serve
